taiga flycatcher
Another tiny beauty we found in Kaengkratchan National Park. Some birds don’t have to be colourful to be beautiful; all birds have different roles in the jungle. One bird catches fly, some fish, some insects, some small reptiles, some fruits, some leaves. Every living creature in the jungle is involved in the cycle of life. I love watching this bird as it is cute and tiny as it is, flying here and there, careless of our presence yet conscious and yet carefully watching of any threat.
