This Starling is one of the most common birds in Penang next to the Crows. They are just anywhere and if you think they might be easy to photograph, it is a mistake. First, they are just in front of you alright, but they keep moving. Second, you have to remember that they are glossy and dark, so proper settings can be experimented until you get the proper shot. We were quite disappointed of finding nothing to shoot at Penang National Park, so we took our frustration to this bird. It’s not that there were no birds, they just don’t come out and the trekking paths don’t just showcase the birds claimed to be around. Well then, this has been a joy.
