Sidek Sigaragar told me about the Blue Nuthatch and it did not show up where we waited and the lighting was better and clearer right there. Just when we started walking down to the park ranger’s station, this blue-black beauty started hopping from one branch to another. I had to set my tripor right away and took the chance as best as I can in shooting minding all difficulties; rain was coming, the tripod was not in he right position and height, the setting had to be tuned right away to the available light there was. Arpha was pointing the skittish bird and it was so difficult to follow, time was very short, I could hear the Range Rover coming up to bring us down. We just had very little time with this beauty and off it went. There were other birds around then, but never mind, we better luck next time and this is one of the Joys of Birding, being happy of what you have seen.
