Jogimara is like three hours away from Kathmandu and to get there requires a lot of nerves because the bus or all of the vehicles using the same road going to the Indian border is just so freaken scary. We climbed the mountain of Jogimara for a one week teaching charity project after the 2015 earthquake in Nepal. I can’t seriously do birding right there though there were a lot of birds around. We were busy with the children. So in the morning, before school starts, I would go around and and listen and find the birds that i could find. So here a very far Woodpecker pecking on a banana flower at 6:00 o’ clock in the morning.
