The day was long and I was getting exhausted driving up and down mountains and hills at Khao Yai National Park and I was really wanting to see more birds; I can’t force it though the weather was not on my side, there was rain, drizzle, wind, heat, and all at the same day. Perfect condition in making the birds stay in their nests and hideaways. Suddenly, driving in a paved road, looking up, I saw this raptor, I was not sure what it was until it dropped to the ground catching a huge insect or something else. It repeated this action many times and I just had to take photographs from down below. I was literally walking under it and chasing it around. The back light was bad as it was also cloudy, all the whites was a little bit impossible to balance.
