The Golden-naped Barbet or Psilopogon pulcherrimus is found in Indonesia and Malaysia, as it is endemic to the island of Borneo. Natural habitats are subtropical or tropical moist lowland forest and subtropical or tropical moist montane forest. Finding this Barbet was an excitement as it was feeding on the fruits of this tree very early in the morning. It was cold and wet morning and shooting was difficult because of these, so having a bird so close was joy to have.
