The Bornean Green Magpie or Cissa jefferyi is a passerine bird in the crow family, endemic only to montane forests in the island of Borneo . Formerly included as a subspecies of the Javan Green Magpie, but with the common name Short-tailed Green Magpie. Among the Green Magpies, the Bornean Green Magpie has whitish comical eyes and other have dark reddish-brown.

It was a privilege to find it and it was the first light of the day plus all the horrible moist and and fog; it was so thick that we had to wait the right timing of taking photographs of the bird. The ISO was high, shutter quite slow and we can’t just make fantastic sharp images, all were soft. at least we got a lifer.
