One of my favorite small birds, may seem to be a Flycatcher as it was classified before, I just love the coulurs. Simple, earth tones, they have a way in just staying close to the ground by perching low and feeding as well. When it finds its prey, it hovers above it if the it is on the ground, and if the prey is a flying bug, it flies to it and goes back to the original perch or somewhere else. Small and convinient to watch.

At least for a season they come back and the birds are different then from the overwhelming Weavers, Munias, Maynas, the Stonechats are a welcome beauty. Some joys of birding can be just a small bird.
