The social media is a place in which you can find a lot of information about birds. The first time this Owl appeared on bird groups we just have to find the time to go to the location before they go somewhere again just like how I missed the Oriental Dwarf Kingfisher that came to Suan Rotfai just for two weeks. We were in Penang, Malaysia and when we got back, we wasted another fourdays in Saraburi, then on that Thursday, I planned to go, Arpha told me to just go there Friday morning. When we got there, we searched and tried hard, we found more birders trying their luck on a Common Kingfisher and they told us that the Oriental Dwarf Kingfisher left lastnight, Thursday evening.

We already learned our lesson, so we went to Suan Rotfai at 5:30 a.m. on a Friday morning to be there before the three owls go back to their burrow. We waited just near the tree where the owls would be coming back, paying attention to bird sounds and if they return flying in the burrows. Later, Sherwin Sibala joined us to take Owl photographs and we were just talking just about anything, then we saw them fly in the tree and perched on the branches. We then enjoyed the moments of just watching them and taking photgraphs. We had all the time in the world now until 8:00 a.m. in the morning when we had more sunlight. The Spotted owls are very cute and beautiful, very curious birds as well, and they also stared back at us for great portraits.
