The Common Iora is one of my favorite birds to take photographs as it is green, yellow, white and black on the wings. It is an interesting bird, it is also curious to humans in return. It can be difficult to find the bird sometimes when it is mixed up deep in the leaves and the colours can camouflage the bird until it makes some movements, then suddenly its there.

Some of these Common Ioras are more yellow on the breast and sometimes on the feathers than of the green, I guess it is the seasonal plumage or something like that. I am not sure if there are more Ioras in Thailand and the splits can be very difficult to identify unless it is the Green Iora. I had closer shots of this bird but I like this bird’s position and until another interesting composition, I will replace this.
