This is spangled alright but the red eyes can’t be seen; oh well, I am not trying to justify my find that I really want this to be the Spangled Drongo, I tried my best to identify this and the closest I can compare it with is the Spangled Drongo. The Drongos can be confusing unless you find the Racket-tailed Drongo and the other distinct Drongos fromt eh others.
I have observed the a lot of this bird especially the Black Drongo and they are very smart and funny birds. They can wait for there food at a vantage perch but they can also trick other birds to find the food for for themselves. One thing that is difficult in taking photographs of the Drongos is, they are black, to set the right exposure can also be a chore.
