Personally, I like the female of the Siamese Fireback Pheasant because of its bright red colour, vandyke brown like feathers, plus the bars of black and white; it is just a fantastic colour combination to be called the Siamese Fireback Pheasant. Frankly, I see the fire on this colour display than the male; although, the distinct display of the fire colour on the back of the make tells why it is called the Siamese Fireback is an attribute to appreciate and enjoy.
We have to this place twice and we have given much attention to the male than the female and it was also difficult since the female Siamese Firebacks were always hiding in the thicket, they could be seen, yet the lighting is impossible. They also come out, but the problem is, they always stay behind the male, or just cross the pavement, or just move around. May be I just need more time to take photographs and observe them. Until another visit, I will better take better photographs and with great care, for now I am happy of this one above.
