The Bluethroat or Luscinia svecica is one of the most awaited migratory bird in Thailand, every year it is a new quest of taking the right photographs. It is such a beautiful bird to watch. Its habit is very funny; before it comes back to the perch prepared for it to come back during the stakeout, it would fly to a bush and come to in between blades of long grass leaves. Slowly, it peeps and makes sure that nobody is watching then it hops towards the perch inch by inch, as it felt comfortable, it perches and stays for awhile for photographs.
It breeds in Europe, Asia, and Alaska; it likes to make nest on Berch wood and bushy swamp areas. Wintering in North Africa, in Indian Subcontinent, and Thailand. It was also categorized together with the Old World Flycatcher and the Thrushes, and mostly called a Chat.
