The Oriental Magpie Robin to me is one of my favorite common birds to watch and observe any given day. They are fun to watch and they have so many habits that could be amusing to observe including the song it sings. This bird can just be anywhere and yet still beautiful. Having the female has also been another joy. They are not that difficult to take photographs with, you just have to be at the right place and at the right time, when there is too much light an over exposure can also be rendered to its whites and getting it done is important since the eyes are surrounded by grade feathers or black for the male.
I am so pleased to have this capture of a properly controlled light under some branches and the background was also far to have it dark and pushing the bird up front so it becomes a fantastic focal point.
