Classified as a member of the Old World Flycatcher, I was thinking that this bird could be a member of the Robin family as its name suggests. I am very pleased to have the male as well and its feather colour is just beautiful. One can quickly conclude that it is black on the top, head, back, nape down to the tail and white under the belly; but the black colour also reflect as bluish. With white and black on its wings, this bird also reflects light on its seemingly deep black feathers making them iridescent.

We have them are around our house in Saraburi, I tried taking photographs there, they were cooperative; but I like taking photographs of birds which are far away from our house, well I will be forced to do soon during the lull season.
