The Blue Rock Thrush or Monticola solitarius is a chat and looks like a Thrush but it belongs to to the Old World Flycatcher; formerly placed in the Turdidae family. Breeding in in southern Europe frm central Asia to northern China and Malaysia, this is a regular visitor to Thailand.

I never had a chance to get fantastic captures of this bird and I hope I can do it someday to give justice to such a beautiful blue of a male bird. The fog was really thick and everything was quite wet as well; all contributed to a bad quality of a photograph that I have here and yet this becomes a documentary capture.
