The Mountain Bamboo Partridges were a bonus after finding the Mrs. Humes Pheasants on Doi San Ju last February 13, 2017. Just when we thought we were taking photographs of the female Mrs. Humes, they were the Mountain Bamboo Partridges. They were easy and docile birds to watch and they indulged us by staying and posing for the camera.

Living near water and bamboo scrubs Mountain Bamboo Partridges are also found in Laos, Tibet, Bangladesh, Myanmar, India, Vietnam, and Thailand as a resident of Doi San Ju. Partridges are beautiful according to their colours on the feathers, they may round, and they just suddenly appear sometimes unexpectedly contrary to locations that most birders actually knew about.
