The Rusty-cheeked Scimitar Babbler can also be found in  Bangladesh, Bhutan, China, India, Myanmar, Nepal, Pakistan, Taiwan. At an elevations up to 2600 meters, Its habitats are subtropical or tropical moist lowland forests and subtropical or tropical moist montane forests. This bird feeds on the forest floor and in low canopy in small groups and they make annoying sounds and whistles, but they could be fun and funny at the same time. Their food items include insects, grubs and seeds.

As I and Arpha were following and waiting for them to come out of the bush, they showed up with eagerness to just be around us at just two meters and even closer that I had to move back to take the shots. They entertained us with so much fun and just being like birds as they are.
