Also called the Longtail Mabuya is found in China, Taiwan, Malaysia, Vietnam, Thailand, Laos, and Vietnam; it is also possible to find it in Cambodia since there is yet so much to explore in that country. This Skink shows paternal care in response to predation by egg-eating snakes.

I found this Skink while I was waiting for some Flycatchers to come for my call, but this creature came instead. Well, at least, I took some photographs of this before I changed location. It is always a joy when something appears in place of the creature you have been expecting to come.
