This cute bird called Little Pied Flycatcher is found in Indian Subcontinent and the Southeast Asia; ranging across Bangladesh, Cambodia, Bhutan, India, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, Myanmar, Nepal, The Philippines, Vietnam, and of course Thailand. Its natural habitats are the subtropical or tropical moist lowland forests and subtropical or tropical moist montane forest like Doi Lang, in Chiang Mai.

When I took the photograph in Doi Lang, it was raining, windy, cold, and foggy. It was difficult and I had to wait for the temperature to change and the rain to stop so that we could get a good clear shot. When the forest cleared up from all the elements, I had to take advantage of it and I took photographs as fast as I could to cath up with other birds.
