The Asian golden Weaver or Ploceus hypoxanthus is found in Cambodia, Laos, Indonesia, Myanmar, Vietnam, and Thailand; the Asian Golden Weaver natural habitats are subtropical or tropical seasonally wet or flooded lowlands just like Thaluang Lopburi, it is a perfect habitat. It is such a beautiful bird in which the colour is golden and stunning. I have taken a lot of photographs of this bird but I have never been satisfied since the golden colour reflects so much light especially noon time. I decided to take photographs in the afternoon for subdued controlled light, may be I should also try the morning light in which it would be fresher.

The Asian Golden Weaver is near threatened due to widening farmlands and homes built at the very place where its habitat can be perfectly located because of the abundance of water and tall grass. Population explosion is taking these habitats and to ensure the future for this bird can be futile.
