It is a species of Dragonfly found in Asia and it is also called Brachythemis Contaminata. It is called Ditch Jewel because it can be found everywhere in places like ditches, weedy ponds, lakes, streams, canals, tanks, and bond.
It was a joy taking macro photographs today of several tiny creatures and it was not easy so to speak. The amount of time dedicated today was not even enough. Lens plus manual macro extension tubes are not easy handle with. It’s all about moving in and out and repeating the action until you get the sharpest shots. It was a blessing finding this creature and the beauty it portrayed after taking this shot revealed it to be amazing.
