Also called East Indian Mabuya, Many-lined Sun Skink, Golden Skink, it is abundant in Thaland. It is also found in found in Bangladesh, Cambodia, China, Myanmar, New Guinea, Philippines, Singapore, Taiwan, and Vietnam.

I found this Skink  on a stump of a tree and taking photographs was easy, it just stayed there until I finished taking shots. I have seen a lot of this back in the Philippines, though its name spells COMMON, this was the first time to find this here in Thailand.
