Ochraceous Bulbul: this photograph may not be used without permission. The Ochraceous Bulbul or Alophoixus ochraceus is a songbird found in Southeast Asia to Sumatra and Borneo and also found in Thailand and Kaeng Krachan National Park is one of the best habitats for it to thrive.

The first time I saw this Bulbul I knew it was but I was not pretty sure if what kind. It took me a lot of time comparing to all the Bulbuls posted on google, opening different sebsites just to know the given name. Well, Ochraceous Bulbul, it the given name and it is quite a big name for a Bulbul.

Ochraceous is another word for ocherous which means: 1.any of several earthy mineral oxides of iron occurring in yellow, brown, or red and used as pigments. 2. a moderate orange yellow, from moderate or deep orange tomoderate or strong yellow (http://www.thefreedictionary.com/ocherous).
