The White-spotted Slug Snake is also known as the Spotted Slug Snake or the Mountain Slug Snake, Pareas margaritophorus; it is a small and  harmless snake commonly seen feeding on forest floors. It is found in India, Bangladesh, Myanmar, Thailand, Laos, Vietnam, Northwest Malaysia, and South China.

This snake is nocturnal and terrestrial, non-venomous;  its diet consist of the following invertebrates; snails, slugs, and earthworms.

This is one of the snakes that David Frohlich showed and shared with me and the rest of the wildlife photographers present during this time. I had the chance to hold and play with this one as I felt so confident that this snake was really harmless.
