The Tailed jay is also the Green-spotted Triangle, Tailed Green jay, Green Triangle; it is also found in India, Sri Lanka, through Southeast Asia, Australia, and Thailand.

At Kaeng krachan National Park this butterfly comes in¬†kaleidoscopes and they are very beautiful to watch as they lick salt on the ground. There are more colourful Butterflies but I like the green spots on this one and if you see the other side of its wings, it is more greener and brighter. It is not easy to take Butterfly photographs, it is daunting and challenging. You can’t use a macro lens and poke in, long telephoto lenses work better as you can keep a comfortable distance for them to stay longer.
