The Huntsman Spider is also called Giant Crab Spider, Wood Spider; and in Africa, Rain Spider, Lizard-eating Spiders. It is found in which warm and temperate to tropical regions of the world; Australasia, Africa, Asia, Mediterranean Basin, Americas. There are many of its kind and it is said that it is introduced in a lot of countries accidentally and ships and boats travelled the world in the old days.

This spider is nocturnal and venomous; diet consists primarily of insects, invertebrates, small skinks, geckos, cockroaches.

Huntsman Spiders have weird locomotion; cartwheeling, hand-springing, and as I was taking photographs of this spider, it just stopped there and waited, doing nothing. It was not aggressive as I thought it would be, it was patient and maybe even afraid as well to get hurt so it just stopped moving.
