The Eurasian Wild Pig is also called the Wild Boar, and Wild Swine. It is a native to Eurasia, North Africa, Greater Sunda Islands. It is an invasive species but it is also because of humans that this animal travelled the world to be hunted as game and for food.

It was really amusing for us to watch them coming close to the rangers’ station because of the waste food from the restaurant. Aside from lavishly enjoying the food in the wild, they also discovered leftovers thrown away by the rangers and that free food is an opportunity not to miss since it is also safer from predators to be just carefree eating whatever. Finding this litter of wild pigs was an experience to remember as we observed them in the wild of their behaviour and how they feed and avoid humans.
