The habitat of the Sun Bear is the tropical forest of Southeast Asia and to be able to see one in the wild is such a joy. I have seen them from a distance and the observation may not be more complete when seen this close.

We have the privilege of finding the Sun bear very close and I thought it would have been dangerous. The Bear did not care a bit of our presence as our light was shining towards the animal’s direction, there was noway it could have seen us. It is just fantastic to be able to see this in the wild since this Bear is listed as Vulnerable; we can do our part in conservation and it could be good for our future generation.
