The Yellow-eared Spiderhunter or Arachnothera chrysogenys is found in Brunei, Indonesia, Malaysia, Myanmar, Singapore, Thailand, and Vietnam which its natural habitats are the subtropical or tropical moist lowland forests, subtropical or tropical mangrove forests, and subtropical or tropical moist montane forests.

At Baan Song Nok, Kaeng Krachan, it comes during some months of the year when some special flowers are in bloom months before winter and it feeds on them. This Spiderhunter is small and it is such a cute bird to watch as it flies from one flower to another and what I love about this bird is that, it stays for awhile to be photographed.
