The White-headed Bulbul or Cerasophila thompsoni is songbird in the Bulbul family and it is a lovely one. I really wanted to have this bid for a very long time and I finally did. It is found in Myanmar and north-western Thailand and its natural habitat are subtropical or tropical lowland forest and subtropical or tropical moist montane forest.

In Chiang Mai, especially in Doi Ang Kang, it is like going to another country. Birding there is different as the species are, this White-headed Bulbul has long been my one of my most wanted bird, it is common there when the Sakura flowers have bloomed. It is just so beautiful capturing this bird with the pinky flowers and driving up there is also quite an adventure, it is a serious drive and a test of one’s truck cooling system.
