The Red-flanked Bluetail or Tarsiger cyanurus is also know as the Orange-flanked Bush-robin is a migratory insectivore breeding in coniferous forest with undergrowth in northern Asia and northeastern Europe, from Finland east across Siberia to Kamchatka and south to Japan. This one is an immature male Red-flanked Bluetail.

Wintering in mainly in southeastern Asia, Indian Subcontinent, Himalayas, Taiwan, northern Indochina, and also in Thailand; it is a welcome beauty. The third time I went back to Doi Lang was the time that I took a shot of this bird, well at least every time I go there, I have something new to find like this lovely one.
