The Rufous-gorgeted Flycatcher or Ficedula strophiata is found in the Indian Subcontinent and Southeast Asia in countries like Bangladesh, Bhutan, India, Hong Kong, Myanmar, Laos, Vietnam, Nepal and finally Thailand in which it has a perfect habitat of subtropical or tropical moist montane forests.
Finding it in Doi Lang was a beautiful experience, though I have seen a lot of Flycatchers in Thailand, the rufous under the neck is a lovely display of beauty.
