The Chestnut Thrush or Turdus rubrocanus breeds in the Western Himalayas and central and southwestern China and winters in Eastern Himalaya, northern Southeast Asia and in which Thailand is a perfect and ideal habitat to spend the cold season which is temperate forest.
To me and the rest of us who were there had a special treat from this bird; it showed off and just tried to be around all the time. It was just walking around us, quite a bold bird and yet very territorial in nature as it protected its food source all the time from other fantastic birds that we want to take photographs as well.
