The Whiskered Yuhina or Yuhina flavicollis is a species of bird coming from the white-eye family of Zosteropidae and it is found in the Himalayan forest in northern India to north India, Nepal, Bangladesh, Bhutan, east to Indochina, Laos, Vietnam, Myanmar, and Finally Thailand in which the habitat to sustain its population is fantastic. The natural habitat of the Whiskered Yuhina is made of subtropical and tropical moist montane forests.

Finding this bird on Doi Lang was not easy since they are small, they like to jump around a particular tree, occasionally going in deep the branches of the tree in which taking a proper photograph can be a challenge. It is not also easy to spot and one must be walking a round to find it and waiting can be difficult as it likes to move from one tree to another. I thought this bird difficult to find and it my take flight after seeing people around; instead, this bird stayed around and was curious about my presence and I tried to move slow and maintained distance so it can be comfortable to hang around.
