The Pied bush Chat or Saxicola caprata is a small passerine bird found in West and Central Asia to India and the Southeast Asia.

The Pied Bushchat is a simple but lovely bird. It is friendly, it has no interesting colour in it; but this is one of my favorite birds to see in the higher elevation open fields of Thailand. The male and female are so lovely to watch as they always stay close together. They both have the habit to perch side ways on twigs, stems, and on man-made structures.
