The Slaty-breasted Rail  or Gallirallus striatus is a Rail found in the Indian Subcontinent and the Southeast Asia and they also breed and show in Thailand around March.

When we found this bird at Lam Lukha, I thought I would never see it since it really liked to hide and for it to come out was not frequent. I had myself positioned flat on the ground covered with grass and I wore camouflage clothes and i waited for a long time; all the bird did was just skip around and walk pass me. i worked hard on this coming back for another day just to get the right shots.
