Wildlife photography has been a great experience and it can be really difficult at times, especially after a day in the forest. One can try to find rest and comfort just to be ready for the next day. The Klymit Armored V has been great and it takes a short while to inflate it by blowing air inside the mattress. Blow air 45 times and then it is already inflated and ready to be used. The goal is to use the mattress quickly for one to rest and also it must be reliable to withstand rough handling in the wild.

Wildlife photography is exciting but it has its own difficulties and especially after the end of the day, one is real tired and needs rest. I don’t want to setup a tent, the rain is heavy, opened the back of my truck clear some space and just spread my Klymit Armored V, blow air in 45 times and you have a sleeping mattress in less than a minute. Some days when out in the wild, one can just be so tired walking around, negotiating difficult terrains with the gear, it is just so tiring; one needs t rest right away and having such a quick set up helps a lot.
We had to take individual boats out to the seat to get to Pangitlogan Island so we can observe and study the migrating terns. It was a long day and and that afternoon was so physically demanding that I needed to just rest my body for awhile. Reaching Pangitlogan Island, it was shallow then as the tide retreated exposing the jagged coral reef and just enough for me to place my Klymit Armored V. The Armored V as designed did not get any cuts or punctures from the sharp coral reef surface and this is why this mattress is fantastic to have just about anywhere. The tide did return later with huge waves for the surfers to play.
