Ali Bernie Buga-ay in Chiang Mai, Thailand, with the Fotopro E9

The Fotopro E9 is a professional wildlife photography tripod and the first of its kind with articulated gimbal head that can transform into three different angles, tilting gimbal base, fluid panning capability, made of high grade carbon fiber and aluminium. My experience handling the tripod since I got it last September 2018 before the launching in Photokina 2018 in Germany has been amazing. The tripod and gimbal combination is phenomenal as I have everything I need in one piece and I don’t have to worry attaching another material to do a specific function which also will add weight and extra bulkiness into my wildlife photography setup. I have taken this into different situations and elements like mud, seawater, dust and sand, rain; and the durability is outstanding.

Finally, stashing it is a joy since the gimbal is attached to the tripod, all I needed to do is just fold and lock, making it short and compact and ready to transform into a full professional tripod again in just a very short period of time.

The Fotopro E9 + Fotopro LH 10A is a perfect duo in a demanding and rough photography such as wildlife and bird. The Eagle Series (EGL) is first of its kind, designed different from the Fotopro TS Series in which I have been using for almost two years now.

This new designed professional tripod is a novelty to be had and that’s why I took a photograph of this with my musical instruments which are part of my collection as I am play them once in a while. The functions are just perfectly made, the knobs and quick release levers are carefully placed, panning and swinging up and down is so smooth, materials used are of the highest grade, extending the legs is easy; the camera and lens will be stable all the time.

It is so good to have this with me while it is being exhibited today at the Photokina 2018, Cologne, Germany. It means I am the first to have used it in the wild. I will be punishing this beautiful tripod with all my wildlife photography activities; mountains, mud, river, saltwater, cold, rain, sand, and see what happens. The most important for me now is that, I have a perfect tripod that will help me make my camera and lens capture fantastic pictures of the wildlife I wanted to keep and share for people to see and appreciate. Thanks a lot Fotopro for this brand new tripod. Thanks a lot Fotopro Thailand and Infinity Plus for having me.
