The Black-collared Starling can be found in Cambodia, Laos, Myanmar, Brunei, Vietnam, and Thailand; its habitat is the subtropical dry forest but we can find this just about anywhere in Thailand.
This bird is resilient and thrives in the city, a tree here and there, dried leaves and even plastic, the bird can survive. Other birds take time in choosing nesting materials to fit into its specified nest architectural design. Also, the Black-collared Starling also makes a lot of noisy sounds leaving and approaching the nest, this bird can also be a bully.
