The Sunbirds are lovely and colourful, well the female ones are rather simple, yet the male have to try harder. It is almost hard to distinguish a Spiderhunter to a Sunbird when one is new to birding. In fact, they belong to one family and you will see the resemblance if you have seen both. Both are nectar sucking birds and they feed on something else as well like the other birds. It is such a joy watching this bird flying from one flower to another to gather and enjoy free nectar from chosen flowers.
