I was quite confused for the first time I saw this bird. I thought it was a Drongo and also a Cuckoo, okay, it is actually a Drongo-cuckoo. It is a parasitic bird to babblers in which it pretends to be a Drongo so it could be raised with the growing chicks or the eggs resemble like the Babbler’s. Free meals and all for this bird then.
Well, the parents of this bird must be lazy. As far as my understanding it is like their camouflage to pretend and act until they have grown to be Cuckoos. The most important is it was a joy watching this without difficulties since it was just around enjoying the shade of the trees while the summer heat was unbearable to birds and humans alike.
