We have taken a lot of photographs of this bird again but we have not given so much attention to Kingfishers like this since they are easy to find; but We are challenge now to take the best shots we can, in better circumstance, for the best documentation of the Kingfishers of Thailand. We are not going to stop until we find the best opportunity for this bird, we love Kingfishers. This one stayed there as we kept our distance, they have this exact measurement of how far they are comfortable with humans and we just have to be content with that or else we use a hide.

Using a hide is the best option no matter how long your lens can capture great images but I always think that it takes a way so much time just waiting there for a single bird to appear, unless you are in a hide somewhere in Kaengkratchan National Park, it is like a bird show. We are happy to have the Collared Kingfisher added to our collection and we hope that anyone who finds our website will enjoy watching it.
