We never thought that Mynas could be beautiful is some ways, I have seen them eat animal excrement and together with Starlings, they could not be nice to take photographs in such kind of situation. After finding the Common Hill Myna, I just liked it and I tried to take photographs of this bird in Saraburi, Namtok Samlan National Park many times. I tried my best right there but I always had the situation with the sun straight to me and the Myna is always backlit.

We have seen the Common Hill Mynas at Sakaerat Environmental Research Station and they were always to tree tops and they were difficult to shoot at until we returned last week, we found them closer and they were just fantastic to watch. The yellow-orange flapping ears are also so beautiful with all the black feathers. Another joy of birding and until the next Myna to capture in the camera.
