The Long-tailed Minivet is one of the most attractive bird in the forest in my own opinion, nobody can miss it when it is around. The coulor is so strong and when it they come in a flock it is just amazing to watch as they turn a green tree into red and orange or sometime yellow. On Doi Lang, I had to follow this one above in the thick of the forest going down the mountain slope.

Found in the southern and south-eastern Asia as it appears in Bangladesh, Bhutan, China, Laos, Nepal Afghanistan, India, Myanmar, Pakistan, Vietnam, and Thailand. Its habitat is subtropical mois lowland forests and moist montane forests. It is always a welcome bird, difficult to get a close capture since they always like the tree tops and they quickly move from one tree to another as they feed.
