The Short-billed Brown-dove or Phapitreron brevirostris is found in low land forest or montane forest in which Siargao is a perfect habitat. It is a Philippine endemic and to find this in the wild was a fantastic experience.

MiguelDavid De Leon brand of authentic hides made of found materials in the wild is an exquisite birding experience. So much space for one to stretch, slouch, stand, eat, move from one angle to another, it is a fantastic experience that the bird fear not to come. This is one of the innocent wild birds of Siargao in which it had no tiny clue that it was already being photographed. Thanks to the Boyz Activated Migs for letting us have them as we waited for the whole day, one bird after another came to feed at this fruiting tree.
